The Ray90 fixed-mount modular VHF radio enables multi-station communications with a whole new level of performance and flexibility. The Ray90 is a black box design with a transceiver located out of sight, while the ergonomic RayMic handset and remote speaker provide full control of the radio with crystal clear audio reproduction.
In addition to a full-featured VHF radio system, the Ray91 also has a built-in AIS (Automatic Identification System) receiver. The Ray91 can receive navigation and safety reports from nearby AIS equipped vessels and share them with your compatible MFD, chartplotter, radar and instruments.
Ray90 is equipped with a powerful 25W transmitter and commercial grade electronics for long life and high performance. Channel scanning, dual-watch, tri-watch and weather alert come standard. Class D digital selective call radio and built-in GPS make it easy to set up advanced security and calling features. Simply enter your watercraft's MMSI number during setup and you're good to go. The optional GA150 passive GPS antenna is required for GPS operation.
The Ray91 also features a built-in Automatic Identification System (AIS) receiver. Use the Ray91 to receive navigational and safety alerts from nearby AIS-equipped vessels and share them over NMEA2000 or NMEA0183 with compatible multifunction displays. Vessels equipped with AIS can be easily identified along with your vessel name, course, speed, CPA and other voyage information.
Use the Ray90's position tracking feature to keep an eye on up to 5 DSC-equipped vessels in your vicinity. Their positions are automatically shared with your Raymarine MFD. Also keep an eye on other boats in your company; monitor vessels of interest and manage your local fleet. The Ray90 supports the ATIS system on navigable inland waterways in Europe.
With the Ray90's built-in megaphone, you'll be heard on deck and throughout the harbour. Connect an optional megaphone and announce your presence with 30 watts of audio power plus 2-way command. When it gets foggy, the megaphone can be set up to automatically give necessary fog signals for racing boats and sailing ships on the water and at anchor.
The Ray90's transceiver is made of solid aluminum for shock and vibration resistance and maximum heat dissipation. RayMic handsets feature super-bright backlighting for excellent readability in all conditions, and oversized buttons provide a secure grip with easy access to commonly used functions.
